Hi Jeff,
I don't have my Office docs handy, being at home, but allow me to answer conceptually.
Tables, in a Word document, are handled as a collection within the document. If you iterate through the table collection, you can also grab cell values. Assuming you know the structure of the data in the table, it shouldn't be that hard to do a FOR loop for each row in the table and grab cell contents.
Feel free to email me at
jkoziol@microsoft.com if you need further help with this.
>I have been playing with moving VFP data to Office applications for merge documents and document generation. Is there a way to do the reverse, say I have a word document with a table of names and address. How could I move the data from this word table to a VFP table?
