Hi,

I have a report page with an image control on it. The actual images that may be displayed generally will not "fill" the full area of the control because I use 'scale picture, retain shape'. The other two options 'clip picture' and 'scale picture, fill the frame' are not suitable because the image will be photos of people of various shapes and sizes.

My users would like the control to be either resized or repositioned at output time so that the image appears in the center. Looking at the frx datafile I can see that the image object "pic1" has height and width. I currently have code in place that dynamically creates reports with different fonts, line widths, etc, thus changing the frx is not an issue.

My question is: How do I set the height and width sizes based on the image properties which are in pixels? What is the correlation between pixels and the measures used in the frx? Should I consider whether the image boundaries would leave a space at the right or top of the image?

I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions as to the best way of doing this.

Regards...Rex
