If the transaction logs don't automatically expand, then you'll have to delete the rows in chunks. Contact your friendly DBA for this database and see what their preferred methodology is for massive deletes like this.

>good call, I got that error message when I tried to run the delete through a cold fusion script. I've since attempted to clear the log with a script the host suggested but so far no joy. I'll have to give it a rest until I get that problem sorted and I'm at the mercy of the host.
