i have a question ?

If, when a VFP datasession is open i write this useless line
( because it is the default setting):

SET FIXED OFF

any value set with

SET DECIMALS TO someNumber

is ignored (The documentation of VFP seems to say this),
or change something in the operations of VFP ?

Someone knows something of precise on this argument ?
