Solutions to problems seem to come to me in the morning while I'm in the shower!! So much so that I now have a white board in my shower so I can write down my thoughts before I forget them!!

During the day .. the best advice I can give is to walk away!! Get away from the problem for a little while and then come back to it. When I worked at Microsoft or when I was working at home, I would go downstairs and play a game of pool. That was usually enough time to clear my head and then I was able to take on the problem with a new perspective!
