My code in the page deactivate() and activate() are using paprameterized views, which should have been loaded in the form load(). When the code in page activate() fails, and if I choose cancel, then form load() is fired and the form is displayed. Is this normal behavior? Thank you.

Thanks Cetin, the error is normal: when the code trys to use a view such as reccount(lcView), the error message is "alias not found". I do not use DE. I cannot belive what is happening. Today my vfp locked up my computer so many times and I just reinstalled vfp, and is downloading SP3 from MS. This is middle night here, and my deadline is coming...
