In the view designer, I don't seem to be able to use the 'left join' to access either VFP data or MS SQL. I get error message ('Connectivity Error, MS Visual FoxPro an ODBC error Syntax Error' and when I take a look at the generated SQL through 'view SQL' in the view designer, it has some rubbish characters.

Now I can programmatically create that remote views by using 'Create SQL View' command.

Any Idea how to get over that problem? I am using VFP 6.0 SP5 on a client maching running Windows 98 with MDAC 2.8.
