Visual SourceSafe works extremely well with VFP. Once you have installed VSS and have it available on your network (assuming it is on a network) you should go to Tools - Options - Projects and set your active source control provider. Make sure you also check the box to add new projects automatically to source control. VSS should appear here once it has been installed on the client machine. Now under File choose Join source control project and this should add your project to source control. If you have a problem with adding an existing project, create the project from scratch. It is really great with multiple developers on a project and even if there isn't, it is very good for keeping track of changes to source. It allows you to find code from a previous version.
