Very rude, indeed.

I also wonder about the lines of code - you can do small corrections and enhancements, perfecting a small or medium program, which is otherwise appropriate for the business - and this can easily take all your time.

The system I was in charge of, in Bata/Bolivia, took me 4 years of work (half-time), and had perhaps 150 forms (plus several classes, PRGs, etc.). Yet, most of the time I wasn't exactly increasing lines of code - quite often, I did enhancements that reduced the total lines of code.

While it is difficult to get a good estimate (or even a decent definition!) of lines-of-code with modern IDE tools, I would estimate that I also got a few tens of thousands of lines.
