No wavering. You are arbitrarily limiting the conditions under which I am allowed to operate. The XML functions that I use are intregral to VFP 7.0, and secondary to the "native" data stores (DBFs) and DML. The fact that you had failed to consider that possibility, does indicate that our levels of "sophistication" in the use of VFP are different; what I consider "standard", you consider otherwise.
