I'm just pointing out that you seem to think you are head prefect, patrolling UT looking for things people say that can be contrived into a scolding session.
As for a license; dare I point out (for the third time) that there is a technical point underlying most of these discussions. Most people in the thread engaged that technical point. Yes there was confusion, but Levy sorted it asap, as I've said 3 times now. You did not engage the technical point; you simply patrolled, criticising people and adopting semantic positions so you could guffaw.
So: this isn't about free expression- nice try, though. Disrupting normal social intercourse has a label; don't go there.
My request is that you hang up your prefect hat for good; then the technical gems in your post will be revealed in all their glory and people will probably start being impressed again.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
