It’s interesting you mention The Academy by Raphael as paintings provide a good analogy of the problem at hand. I believe that the mistake we all sometimes make is to argue a post using logic alone. Logic however is a tool for specific uses, like programming. Some posts made by various people like MikeH and GerryS are of a qualitative nature to which the application of logic is almost pointless. Either you get the
essential point being made or you don’t. To argue the words used to make the point is to miss the point entirely. It’s the finger pointing to the moon problem ;)
