Hi John,
I took a look at JBuilder this morning and ran some of its database projects. JBuilder seem to have a lot of support in the database area. For purposes of a backend database to use with the samples, I suppose JBuilder uses text based comma delimited files, but I havn't had time to really get into the source code to check.
From what I've seen, it should be possible to take the JBuilder examples and substitute a postgres database with postgres connections and SQL and otherwise customize the samples without much difficulty.
I've got a perl based shopping kart app that I've been avoiding, but got started back on it this morning. I will let my subconscience work on Java and JBuilder while I complete the perl app using Komodo. When I have time, or think of something, I can alway fire up JBuilder while mainly focusing on complete the perl app.
I check back later.
Regards,
LelandJ
