You point is well-taken, but when you've been out of work since last Feb. and job hunting full-time for almost 3 months you start to get a little desperate sometimes. I had to take time off during the Summer for two heart procedures and recovery, but now I am fully recovered. I know it said local candidates only, but sometimes you can persuade folks to do otherwise. I think sometimes I know how to win friends and influence people. LOL!

But not in this case. LOL! Don't worry I read all the requirement verbatim and let it rip (my cover letter and resume). It's never gotten me such an awful response before and I have probably sent out 1,000 resumes with cover letters this year.

I am hoping I got the job I interviewed for this morning. I got called back for a second interview. It's amazing to me that someone with my experience and knowledge and qualifications cannot get a job. I know it's a tough job market, but this is crazy.
