There seem to be a lot of 'Health Billing' projects in trouble in NY. All of them seem to be using a framework [too]. They've been going on for years and they will probably go on forever.

A recruiter confided that weak management and politics had been preventing these outfits from getting good engineers in there to fix the project.

It looks like this fellow is size queen anyway :-). Bragging about Millions of lines of code. Must be a s-l-o-w application. Then, he says you have a high opinion of yourself.

The guy sounds like a hack. The job sounds like a low paying, piece of feces sweat shop. Strict School of Cattle-Prod Management:-)

You should write back: Bs Him - Play em - Tell him you want to be just like him! Tell him you are ready to sell your sister so you can move up there and learn from him. Tell him you'll work for 7$/Hr just to be his apprentice:-) Play-em then drop him (if you have time!).

Better to know that you don't want this job, right off the bat, than waste more time with interviews and a test of your susceptibility to being cowed by a jerk:-)

Bill's analytical assessment of the prospects response is stranger than fiction:-). It does provide, however, a much needed moment of levity.
