Thank you, Sergey.

While experimenting with your solution I discovered that this only occurs when the General Field contains a .JPG file. The .BMP pictures in a general field work fine in all OS's. Both JPG and BMPs were set in "File Types " for "Windows Viewer", and I changed them to "Paint". The BMP files still worked fine, and the JPG files didn't.

I can force users to go with BMPs for XP compatibility, but that's not ideal. So I will experiment further. Any other ideas?

Again, this is General Fields with JPG images in reports in XP only.
