It is acknowledged by historians that one should wait 100 years after an event occurs before writing about it. However, I can well recall that I had an opinion of LBJ while he was president that has not changed. He is my least favorite president.

>It is well accepted that one cannot judge the effectiveness of a leader nor his/her place in history until they are out of office for at least 5 years and more likely 10.

>By the way, when did the Republican party join the Democrats and why is the Democrat party so against getting their adgenda passed?

>>George W. Bush will be remembered for many accomplishments, one of which will be environmental policy. He still has one year left on his first term so more may be forthcoming to add to the list.

>>Then we have the economy and unemployment or employment as you wish.
>>
>>I notice unemployment is up in California and the media is stating everything is alright now.
>>
>>Least we forget Homeland Security, international actions and foreign policy.

>>We need to reelect George W. for another four-year term. The rationalization can be two fold:
>>
>>1. This time he can “get it right”! Be optimistic – this time he will rebuild everything he destroyed.
>>
>>
>>2. He can have more time to perfect his plan to destroy the world in the name of his concept of “freedom and democracy”.
>>
>>The person we elect as commander and chief of the United States military should be level headed. Somehow I think things will get worse but then the media will not tell you that.
