Hi Tracy!

I use Crystal 8.5 with VFP 7 & 8.

I handle all of my processing within VFP and then take the result data set and convert it to XML using the XMLTOCURSOR function. Then I create my CR Report based on the XML File. I simply pass my parameters to the Report only to show on the report. I let VFP handle the processing first.

This way I only use Crystal as physical display of the data after I have done the work in the Fox.

As far as a DSN, I use a system dsn and based on the CRXMLV36 driver
