I have an irritating bug, which for weeks I've mistakenly assumed to be a result of a change in the SET(CURSOR) setting.

In short, at certain unpredictable points on certain forms, My cursor disappears so that even though I can click into a textbox and type with no problem, I can't see the insertion point. I had foolishly been trying to correct it with SET CURSOR=ON when my other brain cell kicked in and suggested I check the setting before doing that. Sure enuff, it was already on.

So what else can cause this behaviour, and how can I trap it?
