Didn't really try to track it down to what was it; the cursor vanished altogether from everywhere, including command window. Thanks to speed of today's machines, it was just so easy to quit fox and reload. Never happened at runtime, so I didn't worry.

ditto - its so easy to quit and reload that it hasn't been a major issue, just an irritant. But the app I working on is about to hit the street, so now I need to address it!
