I posted the error message to microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.csharp. Hopefully someone there is familiar with the issue.

>It sounds like something has gone awry with ASP.NET...I'm not sure what's going on, but if you don't get an answer here I highly recommend posting the question on one of the Microsoft news groups...I've found they're very responsive with high quality answers from both MS people and MVPs.
