Hi to all!

For some time I'm facing a very strange problem on my pc. Whenever I open an EXE or ZIP file I get an error message which contains the message '... memory access violation ... procedure 'written' couldn't be operated in memory ...' (in german: ... Vorgang 'written' konnte im Speicher nicht aufgeführt werden.).

The strange thing is that it doesn't occur always, but yesterday I even got it while trying to open the taskmanager or the management console.

The pc has an AMD 1600 processor with 512 mb ram, running win 2k an contains only office an development programs.

I've also changed the ram, because I thought they could cause the problem - but no change.

Please help, I don't want to format and reinstall my pc
