I'm aware of vfpcom but with it you have to "create" the object first to which you want to hook. In this case vfp isn't going to create object in question but rather it is some shell application or explorer popup. In this case the best way may be the system wide hook (cbt) with SetWindowsHookEx but it may turn out that there isn't a way to use it with VFP.
