I don't currently support painting of RTF text in the Report Engine but have been studying this for inclusion of RTF editing within MERE. You can always email me directly and we can discuss how and what you are trying to do and see if there is a way to support what you are looking for. Are you currently using a GENERAL FIELD for the RTF or how are you doing it? The best way to store the RTF would be to place the RTF into a MEMO Field. Then pull that out as an RTF text and let it get formatted onto the page as a normal text but using the RTF codes to handle font issues and such and place it into a REPORT EXPRESSION FIELD set to STRETCH WITH OVERFLOW. The real tricky part about RTF is calculating all of the line heights according to the fonts on each line of text and so that they flow properly vertically when there are mixed font sizes and font types.
Was searching for help on an issue and came across your input to a thread, therefore took a look at the Mind's Eye report engine and is seems answer most of the reporting issues I have, however I have one BIG issue that I can't resolve, can Mind's Eye help?
Part of the report is in RichText format (I can change to HTML), can I include this in a min's eye report? and more importantly can I control the size of the report field? The text varies in length from page to page in the report, I am aware I can hack the .frx and adjust the height of an item, but not on a page by page basis. Is there anything in Mind's eye that could help?
