I agree with you on this. The thing that really gets me though is that they picked one that is NOT on the strip. Why on earth would you want to go to Las Vegas and then stay 10 miles off the strip? Perhaps next time when they have one in Ft Lauderdale they can pick one 10 miles from the beach.
I'm ticked at Advisor anyway. I only get about 1 out of every 3 magazines and their customer service is useless. I call them, email them, etc etc etc and still they never send me my missing magazines, I end up borrowing it from a friend - which then of course I have to return.

>Regardless, this shows that Advisor still does not get it. We are damn tired of them selected a freaking resort hotel that costs an inordinate amount per night when the attendees get very little use of the facilities. The only part they got right was an easy location to get to.

>>Craig, you should have checked with Advisor on the hotel rates for DevCon attendees before posting your incorrect assumption here. Hotel rates for DevCon attendees will not be $239/night, they will be rated at only $159/night. For a nice hotel resort that can host a conference event like this for only $159/night is a great deal. I expect there will be sessions and events during the day and evening to keep people busy, learning, and having fun during the conference to not want to go to the strip other than before or after the conference.
