One of my clients converted to Novell Client 32 about two weeks ago, and ever since, we've experienced crippling problems with memo file corruption in our Fox2.6 Windows apps. We PACK MEMO, run third party memo fixes, but the problems come right back the next day -
the users say memo data that was there the day before is gone, or we get "MEMO MISSING OR INVALID" from FoxPro. We are running a 4.x version of Novell Netware, I'm don't know the exact version. Our MEMO BLOCKSIZE is 64.

I am considering putting more FLUSHes into the programs that update the files that seem to get damaged the most often. I'm hoping that won't degrate performance too much though. I also told my client to look into the Novell "Opportunistic OFF" setting (if that even applies in Novell 4.x), but beyond that, I'm at a loss.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, the network services administrator I'm working with is under tremenous pressure to get these problems fixed. Deactivating Client 32 isn't really an option, becuase we've installed a new missions critical app that requires it.

Thanks in advance, please excuse my rambling,

Mik Kiser
