If you are using VFP8, it now has more strict file opening requirements
and will not open tables with errors that were ignored by previous
VFP versions. Some repair utilities were not updated to handle VFP8
requirements. The ignoring of certain table errors by previous VFP
versions can have serious record loss cosequences - see
