Strip hotels will be less than half that price, even at the Venetian. You should be able to get a *nice* room for about $65-75 (that would be someplace like NY-NY or Caesars). Even slightly off-strip (the Rio, the Hard Rock, or the LV Hilton) will be less than that.

After seeing where we're going to be, I'm going to do some further investigation and let everyone here know about some alternatives. Some of my floorperson friends owe me a favor or two -- guess it's time to call them in. I'll try and locate the best place for the best price close to the resort.

$239 is *foolish* in Vegas -- what is Advisor thinking?
