>>>John, I greatly appreciate your efforts. Usually (and I believe it would be good UT tradition), this kind of thread is to be settled that we both are good people and all UT members too:). What do you think?

>Absolutely!! This is one of the great things about the VFP community - that exists nowhere else. In case you did'nt know - I used to be on CIS exclusively. No, I did not get kicked off<g> :) Rather, it was a pain trying to manage both a CIS connection and a web connecton. I have been desparetely looking for a top notch web based discussion forum on Fox.

I third the motion! Peace! Don't think I don't respect you, John....your VFP5 book rests prominently on my "essential resources" bookshelf.

To an earlier point: There ARE a lot more hacks coding VB than VFP. I think we Fox people lost our hacks when VFP 3.0 came out ;-D ...I remember an email thread I had going with Menachem Bazian in '95 in which he proposed that the Fox community would shrink 70% or more due to the enormous paradigm shift between FPW/FPD and VFP.

Won't it be interesting to see how many VB developer's fall off the back of the truck when MS finally gets around to putting out a near fully object-oriented version of VB? Heehee
