Ah, I see. I think I remember the lavasoft.com domain belonged to the owners of Ad-Aware once; probably they let it expire (and somebody else bought it), or something similar.
This sort of courtesy is relatively rare, but I have seen it in
www.bbc.com, which was totally unrelated to the British Broadcasting Corporation. (It seems the British Broadcasting Corporation acquired the domain in the meantime.)
