And as if nothing happened on any matches played in England or Italy (Basel comes to mind) ? Why would you think something would happen in Istanbul ? Italian soldiers killed in Iraq so is Italy unsecure ? IRA killed English soldiers, was England considered to be unsecure ? Baider Meinhoff was in action in the past, which match was taken outside of Germany ? Which sports action was taken outside of USA after 9/11 ?
And nothing happened against Turkish teams at matches they played outside Turkey like Leeds, Juventus, Milano, ... ? Why then UEFA decide not to play matches outside those countries ? What about 11 wounded Turks at Lazio by blades ? Now UEFA would take matches outside Italy ?
Come on this is the first time ever in history UEFA has given such a shaming decision.
