I now have any computer able to access my postgres tables. I just had to add the ip address to the connection url string. I have not attempted to try anything from outside my lan yet. Now that I have postgres comes the next question - how to setup access to data from my programs. JBuilder uses the DataModule model. It's like having one very large VFP DE for the entrire program (at least that is how I'm looking at it now). In one demo I was following I created a class and then used the bean button (a very small button on the far left of the components) to drag and drop the class onto a form. I wonder if I can do the same with a datamodule? Anyway, I'm trying to relate some of the JBuidler data access to VFP. More work ahead. Have you figured out a way to deal with data?
