Hi James,

I recall reading a few days ago that using the class browser would not change the UniqueID to make sure it's unique (that is when copying class from one library to another one).

Just tested. I took a vcx and made a copy then renamed it. I opened by library in class browsers, copied one class to the other library, renaming it and then copying back in the original library. The UniqueID field is no more unique.

What I would suggest you to compare the changes in your classes would be to convert your VCX into PRG classes (using the viewcode.prg as in the class browser) and then use a file compare application (like Windiff that comes in the Tools of Visual Studio 6) and see the differences from there.

Other people probably have much brigther ideas but that's how I would go! I hope this helps!

Regards,
Sylvain Bujold
