Hi,

Can you test the functioning of the VFP DLL on the web server outside of IIS ? If it doesn't work then check that you have the correct runtimes installed. If it does then suspect permissions on the server.

I have created a web service in VFP8. I can run the wizard to publish the service on my local machine. Now, I need to deploy the service to another server. I've tried running the wizard again and pointing the output to the server. It says it's successful and the WSDL file is generated on the server, but it doesn't work. I've copied the dll and supporting files onto the server in the virtual directory I've setup. What am I missing? How do I let the server know that it has a new web service on it? I've tried running the Soap Toolkit 3 WDSL Generator Wizard on the server, but it tells me there are no methods in my dll. Any thoughts?

Ok, an update. I was able to get the Soap Toolkit 3 WDSL Generator Wizard to see the methods in the dll. I can now register the web service from my machine and get the intellisense to see the methods. When I call the web service, it doesn't load on the server. I get back an error HRESULT = 0x800A13BE - Client - Unspecified Client error. I can go to the server and delete the dll file so I know it isn't getting loaded into memory. Help...
