Thank you for your explanation. I kind of like what I read, ... and for the your $$$ of course. I knew we were doing some things right :)

Now this was an app with maybe 20-25 forms, about 10 reports and some simple import-export functions....We did it for $25,000 and pocketed a hefty profit. Moreover, the client is estatic. As to speed: One of the requirements of this system was to scan registrants and set a flag if certain conditions were true. There were over 175,000 records. VFP takes less than a minute to do it; VB-MS SQL combos, regardless of data driver, took several minutes.
