1. What version/SP of VFP are you running?

2. What OS/SP is the file server running?

3. You say the old was dBase. Did it run OK on the SAME network?

4. What else changed when you installed/ran your app.? (network, workstations andor their OS, etc?

5. What OS/SP are the workstations running?

6.) Is there anti-virus software running on the server and/or the workstations?... If som can you disable it temporarily to perform a test without it running to see if that makes a difference?

>My VFP program run slowly in LAN environment even open a combo box but it is no problem when I test my program in my own PC. The datadase files are saved on LAN and are dDaseIV files originally. The programs are converted from dBaseIV program and the menu is changed to VFP menu by using program language of VFP. The responding time is unacceptable and far more slower than previous dBaseIV program.
