The Wiki topic http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~Edit~VFP8RuntimeFiles~VFP shows the correct location under "Default location". The "Other Locations" column says you can put the VFP runtime files in WinSysDir. While technically you can, Windows guidelines recommend that only Windows files go there, so no application files, including runtimes. It sounds like you're using Installshield express, which will correctly place the runtime files.
