Is there a problem with a Timer in VFP 8?
I ran into the following problem (maybe it is me, maybe vfp 8).
I have a timer on the form which fires every minute. For testing, I set a =messagebox() in the Timer Event method. It so happened that a case I was testing required many, many clicks on the messagebox().
What happened is the system got very very slow. And I could not even bring up the Task Manager to kill the process. I had to physically switch the PC off.
The same problem repeated a couple of time.
