>My VFP program run slowly in LAN environment even open a combo box but it is no problem when I test my program in my own PC. The datadase files are saved on LAN and are dDaseIV files originally. The programs are converted from dBaseIV program and the menu is changed to VFP menu by using program language of VFP. The responding time is unacceptable and far more slower than previous dBaseIV program.

How fast is your network, for instance, 10 or 100 Mbps?

Also, is your entire program slow, or only certain parts? Perhaps there are things you can do to optimize some parts that take too long. Especially the data access tends to be slow, if it is not optimized.
Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
