I use both MySQL and php. I am curious about desktop database development tools like the Rekall product you pointed out in your earlier post.

>I think it's ironic they have fox in the name - but this is a good bundle if you are just 'making the leap', as you can get the distros that run for Windows all in one package [linux too, of course] and they all install properly, without one having to read too much [which is a royal PITA for most folks, I find]. Most of the tools that have been ported to Windows run 'similar' if not exactly the same, in linux servers and workstations.
