Hi Mario,

It's the end of the day now so I'm not too sure if what I'll say is relevant but could it be the lcDir=laDir(i,1) line that creates a pile in the memory, since the function is recursive ? I really doubt it but still. Anyway, unless the code you posted is a snippet and this variable is use somewhere in the real program, you can remove it.

Couldn't it be just normal according to the numbers of files in the folder ? We have an xAdir function and it's a big memory eating too.
