seems like your registry is curroupt.
try opening the d: as follows

right click on d:
explore

see if it opens.

any way u might have to reinstall the cd drive again.

system properties (right click my computer and properties) device manager remove the cd rom drive and then click refresh on the bottom for it to find it again.
