Then you could set a reference to the last active control instead of the "first" one, whenever a page loses control, if that's what you want. I somehow had a feeling that your combo is giving you the trouble just because you're circumventing the regular setfocus/lostfocus sequence of events, so getting as close to it as possible seemed like the way out.

Well, I figure you have a few things to play with now :).
