This has happened to me a couple of times in the past, and I don't know what causes it. I would appreciate your advice.

I have a database that I have been working with for some time. I recently added 4 new tables. So, I went into the Database designer to Edit referential integrity to establish relationship rules for these new tables. When I click on OK to finish the Referential Integrity Builder, it should then write the code to enforce the RI rules. However, at this point I get a message saying that the database is corrupt.

Two questions:

1. What causes this.

2. The best strategy for fixing the problem.
