Our company is looking for a new counting mechanism so as to count the number of signatures that come off the press in real time. We want to then take this real-time count and use it as needed throughout the plant. I'm wondering if anyone is/has used EtherTRAK equipment and how easy it is to intergrate with Visual FoxPro. Specifically, how does the pc/FoxPro read the counter value off of the controller and how does the counter get reset programmatically? Any information on this type of counter or any other such counter would be greatly appreciated.
