>I'm hearing that somehow FoxPro conflicts with RAID and that the ONLY (??!!) solution is to move to a C/S application. The fault is being blamed on FoxPro's inablility to be directed at specific network devices (I'm not sure if I'm saying that properly.)<

This doesn't match my experience at all - we run on both NetWare and NT servers with a variety of RAID implementations, both hardware and software based, on a wide range of servers, and VFP doesn't seem to mind, or even be aware of it - in fact, the storage medium should be completely shielded from VFP via the network connection! You should be seeing a network share, not a physical device.

VFP's even happy with local soft striping implementations - I've run VFP in a development mode on a machine running NT Server and a 5 drive soft parity RAID array. VFP never seemed to notice... :)
