With the economy steaming along at 8 to 9 % GDP, you'd think money was falling from the sky:-).

Look at your near term future as an unpaid sabbatical. While you look for work, keep programming. Do a little sport VFP programming - take on something you would rarely get to toy with if you were being paid. Learn some exotic VFP ActiveX or IIS stuff. The confidence factor of new or enhanced VFP skill sets cannot be over stated.
