One of the few big wins in my life, for sure. Sigh.
Interestingly, I had a very similar experience with the local draft board. Just could not get it through their heads that I was already active. "Doesn't matter - you must register!" A letter to the congressperson de jour cleared it up immediately.

I get a kick out of busting the kids here about what they will do when/if they are presented with that question. Their answers are all over the map. I think I'll stay home and watch.
