You will probably need a few days on site for orientation and bonding. You will [probably] have to go on site for installs and design reviews - but as long as you can assure them you can meet schedules - they will probably leave it up to you as to the necessity of being on-site!
I asked the contact, after saying it seemed they were getting good service from their Clipper App, why they wanted to change? Propects place a lot of pride and trust in their legacy apps. Demonstrating a little admiration and respect for a legacy solution is [a] positive reinforcement:-)
