I believe, there was a custom class (Nigel Coates) already created for this. Check download section here or go to
http://www.nbcsoftware.com, freeware, waitwindow.
You may modify it to meet your needs.
>My users have requested a way to control the colors of the WAIT WINDOW popup messages my application uses periodically. (They think the unobtrusive "windows gray" isn't visible enough--go figure <g>.) I've written a "msg" class based on the form class that does the job for me, and I think I can deal with the fact that it triggers activate and focus events in the active form, but I'd like a way to make it disappear like a WAIT WINDOW when the user presses a key or clicks the mouse in another form. I've played with DEACTIVATE and LOSTFOCUS in the msg class form, but the timing of those is unpredictable and depends on the code following my call to the msg class. I've wracked my brain trying to figure out a way to globally trap a keypress or mouseclick, but haven't come up with a satisfactory solution. Has anyone else dealt with this problem that can offer advice?
